Future of Electric Car in India

 “Change is the only
constant thing in the World which will never Change”. Yes! the World is getting
ready to feel a drastic change in the means of transport. Introduction of
Electric Cars where you and I can just get in and get out, rest will be handled
by the advanced technology.

The idea of making
an electric car is not generated in this millennium, but its seeds grounded
before 100 years. Abundant availability of Crude Oil by which petrol and diesel
are generated in those days slowed down the idea of electric cars. As the world
is facing the fear of scarcity of petrol and diesel, it automatically pulls
towards the next generation Cars running with the help of electrically charged
batteries.

India, a densely
populated country is already in the virtue of producing electric Cars
forecasting the future demand. Traces of Tata Nexon EV, TESLA’s electric
trucks, and Cars are live examples. As electricity can be generated in many
ways like solar, water, thermal, lignite, and most importantly it’s a renewable
source that pushes human brains to lock them for the future and it creates its
necessity.

The advantages of electric cars are listed
below:

  1. Undoubtedly, an electric car leads to
a pollution-free environment and ensures Zero emissions.

  2. Advanced technologies of artificial
intelligence, self-driven, accident-free logic will be possible out of electric
    cars.

  3. Usage of individual drivers will be
solely reduced or even diminished because of the self-driving capacity of
    electric cars.

  4. Gearless and easy to handle frameworks
will ensure safety and security which enables women, young adults to old
hands to access electric cars with ease.

  5. A high-quality suspensions and shock
absorbers facility eliminates vibration to zero levels.

Listing out some of the disadvantages of
electric cars as follows:

  1. The advanced technology pieces of
machinery and equipment must have the required manpower efficiency to
    rectify complicated repairs.

  2. The cost of the vehicle may be
    expensive

  3. Charging the battery is a
time-consuming process as it takes at least 1 hour in the station and a
minimum of 6 hours in our households.

But, time and
necessity will overcome the pitfalls at a rapid speed. Even now in some foreign
countries charging a battery is made possible while a car running on a separate
lane of the roads which is ultimately a time-saving process.

Also, once the
battery is charged, it can run up to 200 kilometers to 300 kilometers without
refilling the charge which can be even better when it moves in plenty in the
future.

In India, these
types of cars will be used by a majority of the population in 30 to 40 years.
Being a traffic-jammed, densely populated country, we will adapt to these
electrical cars sooner than expected. It also curbs the menace of dust which is
a challenging factor in the northern part of the country.

The introduction of
these electric cars votes and advocates strongly for the quote, “Necessity is
the mother of invention”.
