Educational Policy (NEP) has been implemented recently in July 2020 that has
brought in so many changes in the current educational system. Multiple changes
are brought in to the existing system and it is aimed at improving the

this 21st century rewriting the previous rules implemented in the year 1986. In

Education Policy when they are into the throne and it has now been implemented.

serious efforts were taken and in progress since 2015 and the discussions were

relaxations have been introduced in the school syllabus to bring in some
flexibilities and relaxations. 

The
new stream of learning is introduced with varying features aiming at improving
the Gross Enrollment Ratio of the Schools to cent per cent by 2030.

Grade
Structure:

New
Educational Policy is aimed at reducing the educational stress and burden of
the students verily and learning mode is planned to be enabled through
analyzing and structuring.

Preschooling
– Children starting from age 3 is to be taught under Anganwadi and primary
schooling is to be done within 8 years starting from 3, grade 1-2.

Preparing
Stage – Children between 8 to 11 years are in second grade 3-5.

Median
Stage – Children between 11 to 14 years are in third grade 6-8.

Secondary
Stage 1 – Children with age 14-18, Grade 9-10. 

Secondary
Stage 2 – Children with age 14-18. Grade 11-12.

In
the secondary stage, students can have relaxation in the choice of subjects.
